Ah nevermind. I've been having some HUUUGE problems with my fresh computer recently, and it all seems to be based around the fact that I settled on buying a nVidia chipset motherboard. Their drivers have been resposible for around 30% of Vista's crashes. So, I just happened to be in Tyson's Corner today at "work" and made a stop by Microcenter. I now have an Asus Maximus to alleviate the problem.

The only problem is that they had the CPU cooler I was desperately looking for, AND they had the 10k RPM sata drive that wasn't even released yet when I was first building the system. So now I have both of those too. Then as I was walking to the counter a Soundblaster x-fi soundcard was pitifully staring at me from a shelf. I took the whole lot home with me.

I'm now downloading SP3's admin installer so I can make a pretty new slipstreamed XPpro install cd, and completely rearrange my computer. At least I haven't switched to water cooling yet.


In other news I spent the morning up to my armpits in a '78 CJ7. Pops bought it as an "anniversary present", and it has been sitting in a garage for 10-14 years. Rolled the oil over earlier this week, and put on new fuel lines today. It runs amazingly well, short of flat spots on the tires. Now I can technically call myself a mechanic too. :p

Posting from a new puter. Met a nurse that is quite hot, and drinks more than me. Working with Pop's again. Figuring out a new car situation in the next few days because I'm not house sitting anymore. Drinking since about noon even though I was at work. Decided to finally post while only starting sentences with verbs.

Going to a BBQ on Saturday, and I'll try to make it up for the CS show. Depends on how many beer pong games start.

If you didn't happen to watch the last 2 days of NHL All-star events you missed out on some good stuff. And if you haven't seen Cloverfield in the theater yet, go do it. There are few exceptions that I can think of, but a girl sitting next to me did leave her seat for a few minutes in tears. It is really the most intense movie I've seen in a LONG time. Just as I was leaving the movie I heard an ad for it on the radio and almost went back inside to watch it again.

I'm posting this here because I don't feel like phishing for it anywhere else. If anyone has a live contact information for Kristin Junkin, I need it. I'm attempting to get debts in the process of being settled and I don't feel like paying for her "suicide attempts".

The main patient in the "musical" episode of Scrubs is Stephanie D'Abruzzo aka Kate Monster From Avenue Q. And some of the songs were written by the composers of Avenue Q.

They know about all the other crap that is going on with me beyond my nerd posts. So, here we go.

We change, we adapt, we drift... proves what we know we can do and progresses through 3 new tier 5 bosses in 2 days. Take that... Al'ar, Solaran, and Lady Vash'j all down. We basically spent the weekend crushing the dreams of about 125 people that all thought they were better than us.

Our group has struck like this before but it hasn't been since Blackwing Lair eons ago when we got a first down from Vaelastrasz to Chromaggus in one night.

I know this doesn't mean much to most of you... And yeah, it may be at something that doesn't really matter. But it is nice to know people feel bad because you are better than them. People tried to make our guild the brunt of jokes because we keep a very casual raiding schedule. We finally got tired of it, and got pissed off in the right direction. We progress faster and farther than another guild that runs 5 nights a week for about 4 hours a night. Other groups have completely broken apart because they it took them weeks to do what we did in one night.

Celebratory drink incoming. Kael'thas going down soon, time travel is on the horizon.

"Busy" week coming up/in progress. Cleaning/re-organizing the house for the unconfirmed number of bodies present on Saturday. And all the while trying to schedule WoW stuff around it.
